KPATC Honors Mariah Knight and John Leonard with Challenge Coin

Very honored to recognize two dispatchers, Mariah Knight and Jon Leonard, at East Lyme Police in CT yesterday with a KPATC Challenge Coin for rescuing two boaters whose boat capsized in June. They weren’t able to get a location on them so they used an unconventional way to find them – FACETIME. By viewing the area, it gave them the clues they needed to locate them fast when minutes and seconds count before hypothermia set in.
