Honored to present KPATC Challenge Coins to Alexis Jones and Alana Amador from the Las Vegas Combined Communications Center on July 17. They worked together to locate a caller in need using all the tools in their toolbox. They were persistent and determined to find their caller who was finally located in Bullhead City, Arizona! After sending first responders out to numerous addresses that had a history with the callers phone number and didn’t find the caller, they refused to give up. When the caller remembered she had moved to Bullhead City, AZ and her son’s name, they continued their search and looked up the son’s number and continued to stay on the line until EMS arrived. For almost two hours they continued their search. Amazing! We truly appreciate Alexis and Alana’s dedication and persistence that they put into their job each and every day.
